Pick'Em rules
Master Class 2026. Unofficial.
1. Not Pearl Abyss
This contest is run by CoGM. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pearl Abyss. Filling a sheet does not enter you into Master Class.
2. Who can enter
One sheet per Discord account. You must be 18 or older. Each region opens when Pearl Abyss posts its trees: Asia , NA and EU . In South America each class's final opens once its semifinals are played.
3. Scoring
You pick the winner of every match in every class you fill, in any of the four regions. Regions are scored apart. A right pick is worth more the later its round, counted back from each class's final:
| Round | Per right pick | A full round |
|---|---|---|
| Final1 match, 16 | 16 | 1 match, 16 |
| Semifinal2 matches, 16 | 8 | 2 matches, 16 |
| Quarterfinal4 matches, 16 | 4 | 4 matches, 16 |
| Round of 168 matches, 16 | 2 | 8 matches, 16 |
| Round of 32 and earlier16 matches, 16 | 1 | 16 matches, 16 |
| ByeNot a pick | 0 | Not a pick |
From the round of 32 to the final, a full round of a class adds up to 16 points: fewer matches, more points each. A first round with byes is worth less.
A bye is not a pick and never scores. In South America only the finals are picks, 16 points each. The official result is whoever Pearl Abyss crowns, including after a DQ or no-show.

NA, most points

969 picks across 32 posted trees.
EU, most points
2,754
1,186 picks across 32 posted trees.
Asia (SEA and TH), most points
2,001

South America, most points
512
32 picks across 32 posted trees.
On the board, equal points share a place and the next place is skipped: two sheets on 279 are both 3rd, and the next sheet is 5th.
4. Prize
$100 USD to the NA sheet with the most points. $100 USD to the EU sheet with the most points. One winner per region. Hubs never split or share the prize. Asia and South America are leaderboard only, with no CoGM prize.
After the last final, a tie at the top of NA or EU is settled in this order:
- 1Most champions right: classes where the player you picked to win the final won it.
- 2Most finalists right: players you had in a final who got there.
- 3Still tied: the winner is drawn at random.
In Asia and South America the same two counts order the final board, and sheets still level share the place. We contact the NA and EU winners on Discord and pay off-platform. Void where prohibited.
5. Regions and locks
Each region plays on its own dates in its own time zone. A class locks when its group day starts at the venue, or at the class's own start time once Pearl Abyss posts one. If a class starts early, it locks early. After a class locks, its picks can't change and your share link stays up. Times below show in your time, with the venue's beside them.

Finals open again
In NA, EU and Asia you pick each final with the rest of its class. When a class's semifinals are decided, its final opens again until the finals lock. If the player you picked to win the final is out, that pick is cleared and marked Pick again. If they made the final, the pick stands. Either way you can change it until the lock.
In South America the main rounds are played before sheets open, so the final is the only pick in each class. It opens once that class's semifinals are decided and locks when its finals start.
Your champion is your final pick: one pick, 16 points, never counted twice.
6. Hubs
A hub is a named board for friends or a guild. It is not a team, and the prize is still the highest individual NA total and the highest individual EU total. A guild officer can make the guild's hub in one click. Members join themselves, with the invite or a code, or from the hub page if the owner turned on open join. CoGM guild rosters are not imported.
7. Fair play
CoGM can void a sheet for multiple accounts, staff abuse, or a Discord ban. Staff results are the scoreboard.
8. DMs from CoGM
Off until you turn them on from your sheet. There are two: a reminder the day before a group locks, only if you still have open picks in it, and your results after each group day. Every DM has a button to stop them.
The CoGM bot can only DM you if you share a Discord server with it. Joining the CoGM Discord is enough.
