When does World of Warcraft: Forever launch?
Forever launches worldwide on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific. The beta is live now through October 21. First raids unlock December 9: Barrow Deeps (10), Hyjal Summit (20), and Onyxia's Lair (40).
Does WoW Forever have realms?
No. Forever is realmless. You pick a ruleset (Normal, PvP, or Roleplaying at launch, Hardcore later) and you can only group with people on the same ruleset and faction. Names are first plus last, unique per region.
Can I set up a Forever guild on CoGM before November 4?
Yes. Forever guild creation is open to everyone right now, during the game's beta. Recruitment, applications, and Discord signups all work today. The application form and signup sizes already match Forever: 5, 10, 20, and 40. Beta characters wipe on October 21. Your guild, members, and settings stay.
Is GDKP allowed in Forever?
No. Blizzard said it will not allow GDKP in Forever. CoGM's Forever loot tools are DKP auctions in Discord, soft reserves and loot council. No gold changes hands.
Is this the same as WoW Classic on CoGM?
No. Forever is a separate game on CoGM, with its own guilds and characters: nine classes, no Death Knight, Skyborne as a race, and its own raids. Claim Forever characters on a Forever guild, not a WoW Classic one.
Is there a guild member cap in WoW Forever?
Blizzard has not announced a member cap for Forever guilds. What it has said is about raid sizes: every raid tier will have a 10-player raid and a 20-player raid, Onyxia's Lair adds a 40-player raid, and there is no flex raiding at launch. A guild with 10 steady raiders can run every tier. On CoGM, Free covers up to 30 members per guild and Pro holds up to 300 active members per guild, then +200 for $5/month.
Can one Forever guild have both factions or play on two rulesets?
No. Cross-ruleset grouping is not supported and Horde and Alliance cannot group together, so a raiding guild lives on one ruleset and one faction. CoGM's Forever setup asks for both, plus your region.
How do I start a guild in WoW Forever?
Blizzard has not posted charter rules for Forever yet. In the original game you buy a guild charter from the guild master in a capital city, collect signatures from other players, and turn it in to found the guild. Once the guild exists in game, set it up on CoGM with its ruleset, faction, and region, then add the Discord bot.
Does WoW Forever have a guild bank?
Blizzard's Forever posts so far do not mention one, and the original game had no guild bank until The Burning Crusade. CoGM's Guild Bank, on Pro, tracks the guild's gold in and out and who gave what.
