Aion 2 legions: size, ranks, hall and how to join
Aion 2 legions hold up to 128 members and 4 officers. How to unlock, join or create one, the 20 legion levels, ranks, the Legion Hall and server transfers.

Legions are Aion 2's guilds. A legion holds up to 128 members, led by a High Commander with up to 4 Elite Officers, and you unlock legions with a story quest recommended at level 16. As the legion levels from 1 to 20, every member gets passive stats, and the legion can rent a Legion Hall for 1,000,000 Kinah per 30 days.

How to join a legion
- Finish the story quest that opens legions: Renewed Resolve as Elyos or Buried Atrocities as an Asmodian. Both are recommended at level 16.
- Press ESC to open the main menu and select Legion.
- Browse the legions or search for one by name.
- Read the legion's recruitment information, then submit your application and wait for approval.
A member with recruitment permissions can also invite you directly. Joining completes the achievement The More the Merrier, which pays 3,000 Kinah and the title There's No "I" in Team.

How to create a legion
- Finish the same unlock quest.
- Press ESC and select Create Legion.
- Enter the legion's name, write an introduction and set your recruitment settings.
- Confirm to found the legion.
Once the legion exists, invite members or tell friends to search for its name, then set each member's permissions. Agree on a faction and a server before anyone makes a character, since the two factions play on separate servers.
Ranks and officers
The client has three legion ranks: High Commander, the leader; Elite Officer; and Soldier. Every legion level allows 4 Elite Officers, and the 128-member cap holds from level 1, so a new legion can recruit a full roster from day one.
Legion levels and member perks
A legion levels from 1 to 20 with legion EXP, and level 20 takes 767,500 legion EXP in total. Each level gives every member passive stats. EXP Gain Increase reaches its +3% cap at legion level 9, which helps most while your members are still leveling.
At legion level 20, every member gets EXP Gain Increase +3%, HP +80, MP +70, Evasion Bonus +5, Accuracy Bonus +5, Attack Bonus +4 and Defense Bonus +4. The client tables do not say which activities earn legion EXP, so check the Legion window in game.
The Legion Hall
A legion can rent a Legion Hall with crafting stations, merchants and storage. There are four: Verteron and Eltnen for Elyos, Altgard and Morheim for Asmodians. Each costs 1,000,000 Kinah for 30 days and needs only legion level 1. You manage it under Main Menu, Legion, Hall.
Members reach the Hall by airship, from the Hall window or with a Hall Return Scroll, which General Goods Merchants sell for 1,000 Kinah. Inside, the Hall has 17 decoration slots (12 Artwork, 4 Statue and 1 Colossus), and each decoration carries a deity stat.
Moving your legion to another server
NC opened a server transfer in October 2026. These rules come from NC's server transfer notice:
- Transfers run from October 13 to October 27, 2026 (PDT). The first week is for Early Access servers, the second for Launch servers.
- The base cost and the cost per character are 0 Quna. Extra character slots on the new server cost 1,000 Quna each.
- You can only move to a server of the same faction in the same region, once per account.
- Each character must be level 10 or higher, standing in a village, out of any legion and without a pending legion application.
Since a character has to leave the legion before it moves, pick the new server together, post the plan, and have the leader found or rebuild the legion on the other side.

Are there guilds in Aion 2?
Yes. Aion 2 calls its guilds legions. You unlock them with a story quest recommended at level 16, Renewed Resolve for Elyos or Buried Atrocities for Asmodians, then join a legion or found your own.
How many members can an Aion 2 legion have?
Up to 128. Third-party readings of the Global game client list a cap of 128 members and 4 Elite Officers, and the cap stays the same from legion level 1 to 20. NC's Global notices have not published the number.
How do I join a legion in Aion 2?

Each member moves their own characters. NC's server transfer runs from October 13 to October 27, 2026 (PDT), Early Access servers in the first week and Launch servers in the second. It costs no Quna unless you need extra character slots, stays within your faction and region, and a character has to leave its legion before it can transfer.
