How we rank
Every spec clears level 30 content, so the list has no D tier. Specs inside a tier are listed in our order. At 30 you have 21 talent points: 20 in one tree and one in row 5, so every capstone is still out of reach.

What changes at 60
The beta closes Oct 23, and launch on Nov 4 raises the cap to 60 and gives you 51 points. Row 6 opens at 35 and the capstones at 40, among them Prayer of Mending, Riptide, Wild Growth, Shield Slam, Mortal Strike and Bestial Wrath. The level 60 lists replace these on the same pages. This list stays on each page as the leveling guide up to 30. Raid placements follow the first raid week after Dec 9.

What is the best class in WoW Forever right now?
At the level 30 cap, Hunter: Marksmanship and Beast Mastery are both S tier for DPS. Discipline Priest leads healers and Protection Paladin leads tanks.
What is the best DPS spec at level 30?
Marksmanship Hunter, then Beast Mastery Hunter, Enhancement Shaman and Demonology Warlock.
What is the best healer in WoW Forever?
Discipline Priest. A full Discipline build gets Penance with its 21st talent point, on top of Power Word: Shield.
What is the best tank in WoW Forever?
Protection Paladin. Templar's Bulwark and Consecration fit the multi-mob pulls of level 30 dungeons.
Can a Shaman tank in WoW Forever?
For leveling dungeons, yes. Spirit Weapons raises threat by 30% with Rockbiter Weapon, but there is no full tank kit, so it is a backup tank.
How many talent points do you get at level 30?
21, one per level from 10. Each tree's 31-point capstone needs level 40, and you have 51 points at 60.
Is this list for level 30 or level 60?
Level 30, the beta cap. Launch on Nov 4 raises the cap to 60, and we update these pages that day.
Which spec is weakest at level 30?
Balance Druid. Moonkin Form needs level 40, and Druids can't use a wand when mana runs low.
Does this list apply to raids?
Not yet. There were no raids in the beta. Hyjal Summit (20 players) and Barrow Deeps (10 players) open Dec 9.
