Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of CoGM, including the cogm.app dashboard and the CoGM Discord bot. By using CoGM you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CoGM.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and meet Discord's minimum age requirement, have a Discord account, and follow Discord's Terms of Service. If you set up CoGM for a community, you confirm you are authorized to act for that community.
3. The service
CoGM helps you manage gaming communities: rosters, events, attendance, applications, analytics, and related features delivered through the web dashboard and the Discord bot. Features vary by plan and by game.
4. Your account and content
You are responsible for activity in the communities you manage and for the content you and your members submit, including having the right to upload it. You retain ownership of your content. You grant CoGM a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse CoGM. In particular, do not break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malicious or abusive content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, or use CoGM in a way that violates Discord's rules.
6. Plans, billing, and trials
CoGM offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. We may offer a free trial; if a trial ends without an active subscription, your community returns to the free tier. You can cancel anytime from Community Settings › Billing. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Payments are handled by Stripe.
7. Third-party services
CoGM relies on third parties such as Discord, Stripe, and game APIs. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or limit the service for maintenance, security, or abuse. We aim to give notice of significant changes when we can.
9. Disclaimers
CoGM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data, including game analytics, will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoGM and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using CoGM at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
