Albion Online Guild Management: Frequently Asked Questions
Questions Albion guild officers ask. Albion support on CoGM is in development.
What is a regear system in Albion Online?
Regear is how guilds compensate members for gear lost in ZvZ and large-scale PvP. Members die, gear drops to enemies, the guild reimburses the cost (usually in silver) so members can refit and keep showing up. Without a regear system, members stop wanting to commit to risky content. Regear automation tracks deaths, calculates gear value, and queues payouts.
What's the best ZvZ composition in Albion Online?
Depends on guild size and content. For 20-50 player ZvZ: tanks (1H Mace, Heavy Mace), healers (Holy, Nature), DPS (Fire Staff, Frost Staff, Cursed), utility (Carving Sword, Locust). Ratios shift by patch; the actual answer is to track which comps win for your guild and iterate. Albion's meta is patch-driven, not stable.
How do guilds coordinate territory wars in Albion?
Pre-war scouting (who's defending, what comp), scheduled rally point and time, voice coordination, regear commitment for losing members. Officer team handles target selection, comp planning, and post-war debrief. Without coordination, territory wars are chaos and guilds lose.
What does CoGM do for Albion Online?
Albion support on CoGM is in development. Planned tools include regear automation, ZvZ composition tracking, territory war coordination, killboard integration, loot split calculation and guild bank tracking, all in one platform with a single subscription.
How do I track regear costs across 100+ Albion members?
Manual tracking breaks at scale. Most guilds use spreadsheets that fall apart by month 2. Automated regear systems pull death events from killboards, calculate gear value, and queue silver payouts. CoGM's planned Albion regear tools include kill tracking and silver payouts.
What's the loot split system in Albion?
After large-scale fights, loot from kills gets distributed across guild members who participated. Split can be: equal share, attendance-weighted, role-weighted, or contribution-weighted. Most guilds run equal share with attendance gates (you need to have been there to get a slice). Calculator tools handle the math automatically.
How do guilds verify members were actually present in a fight?
Killboards record who participated in kills and deaths during a time window. Crossing the killboard data with your guild roster gives you a verified attendance list. Manual claims are unreliable; killboard data is hard to fake.
What officers do I need for an Albion guild?
Minimum: GM, ZvZ caller, regear officer. At 50+ members add a recruitment officer. At 100+ add a Discord/community officer plus a backup ZvZ caller. The regear officer specifically is critical because regear math is endless and members notice immediately when payouts are late.
When is CoGM Albion launching?
