Monsters & Memories Stats and Resists Explained
Monsters & Memories has seven stats: Strength, Stamina, Dexterity, Agility, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. The developers have not published a stat glossary, so we built this one from the patch notes, the official FAQ, the class pages and the class deep dives. We mark every number that comes from the community wiki as a wiki value.

Strength
Strength raises your weight allowance. The more you have, the more you can carry before you become Encumbered. Being Encumbered slows you down and stops gate and teleport from working.
The Beta Pre-Patch (0.20.25.0, February 25, 2026) made ranged physical damage scale from Strength. Other physical damage already scaled from it.
The wiki says each point of Strength adds 2 weight and that Strength also raises shield block amounts. We found no official note confirming either one.
Stamina
Stamina adds health. The Beta Pre-Patch reworked base health and the amount of health each point of Stamina gives. Beta Patch 5 (0.24.0.0, May 5, 2026) tied two more things to Stamina:
- health regeneration while you sit
- Block
Two class abilities also scale with Stamina: the Fighter's Second Wind and the Shadow Knight's Grip of Agony. The wiki says Stamina also lowers your chance to be dazed. The developers have not confirmed it.
Dexterity and Agility
Dexterity improves your hit rate with melee and ranged physical attacks. Beta Patch 10 (0.29.0.0, September 10, 2026) reworked to-hit so that extra Dexterity stays useful for much longer. For Monks, Dexterity also scales Round Kick and Flying Kick.
The patch notes say the least about Agility. It is part of the same to-hit rework. Beta Patch 8 (0.27.0.0, August 4, 2026) fixed uneven Agility scaling below level 40.
The wiki lists more effects: damage mitigation from Agility, and proc frequency plus a channeling bonus from Dexterity. The developers have not confirmed any of them.
Intelligence and Wisdom
Beta Patch 6 (0.25.0.0, June 7, 2026) gave Intelligence a large spell damage bonus and gave Wisdom a large heal bonus. Each bonus has a cap, and the cap depends on your level.
Five days later, the Balance Patch (0.25.0.2, June 12, 2026) switched Cleric, Druid, Shaman, Ranger and Paladin ability damage from Intelligence to Wisdom. For those five classes, Wisdom now drives ability damage as well as healing.
Since Beta Patch 5, mana regen while sitting uses whichever is higher, Intelligence or Wisdom. The Spellblade's Kinetic Ward scales with Intelligence.
The wiki says your mana pool also comes from the higher of the two. It gives a figure of 4 mana per point of Wisdom, which we could not confirm.
Charisma
Beta Patch 2 (0.21.0.0, March 20, 2026) added new rules for when charm, fear and pacify break, and made Charisma matter more to those rules.
Charisma is a primary stat for the Enchanter. It scales Enchanter damage, Runeskin, charm and lull. The Bard deep dive made Charisma the stat behind Bard mana and song damage. Our Enchanter and Bard guide covers both classes in more detail.
The wiki lists vendor prices as a Charisma effect. It also notes that Charisma did not seem to change vendor prices during the beta.
Resists
The Bard deep dive names eight resists in its resist chants: Magic, Poison, Disease, Fire, Cold, Electric, Holy and Corruption.
The Beta Pre-Patch raised the cap on resists from worn gear and made each point worth less. You can now wear more resist before you hit the cap, but each point does less.
Buffs add resists too. Bard resist chants stack with resist buffs from other classes, and Inquisitors have an Aura of Resistance.
Racial resist modifiers (wiki values as of February 16, 2026, before Early Access):
| Race | Resist modifiers |
|---|---|
| Human | Corruption -5, Holy -5 |
| Wood Elf | Electric +5, Fire -5 |
| Halfling | Corruption +5, Disease +5 |
| Dwarf | Cold +5, Magic +5 |
| Gnome | Electric +5, Poison +5 |
| Goblin | Disease +5, Poison +5 |
| Ogre | Cold +10, Magic -10 |
| Deep Elf | Marked "unknown" on the wiki |
| Deep Gnome | Not listed on the wiki |
Armor and Block
The Cleric deep dive says plate armor now reduces incoming damage more than it did before.
Official class pages give armor types for eight classes. For the rest, only the wiki gives one.
| Class | Armor | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Cleric | Heavy armor and shield | Official (the wiki says plate) |
| Paladin | Plate and shield | Official |
| Inquisitor | Plate | Official |
| Shadow Knight | Plate | Official |
| Ranger | Chain | Official |
| Beastmaster | Leather | Official |
| Spellblade | Light armor | Official |
| Monk | No heavy armor | Official (the wiki says leather) |
| Fighter | All armor types | Wiki |
| Bard | Most armor types | Wiki |
| Shaman | Chain | Wiki |
| Archer, Druid | Leather | Wiki |
| Rogue | Lighter armor | Wiki |
| Elementalist, Enchanter, Necromancer, Wizard | Cloth | Wiki |
Block is a skill, not a stat. Skills are a separate system. At the start, your class guild master offers skills training along with your first quests and ability scrolls. Stamina scales Block. Clerics get the Block skill from Prayer of the Faithful, a self-buff, and the Paladin's Warding Slam raises Block. The wiki's Skills page says Block belongs only to Monks, but the deep dives show otherwise. For more on plate classes and healers, see our tank classes and healer classes guides.
Stats at character creation
You place stat points yourself when you create a character. The developers' traits preview on September 29, 2026 mentions starting attributes and the maximums you can reach when you place points at creation. They have not published the numbers.
The wiki fills in the rest with values from before Early Access. On the wiki, your race sets your base stats, your class adjusts them, and you then add bonus points. Each race starts with these base stats:
| Race | STR | STA | DEX | AGI | INT | WIS | CHA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Human | 16 | 17 | 16 | 16 | 16 | 16 | 17 |
| Wood Elf | 14 | 14 | 18 | 20 | 15 | 17 | 16 |
| Halfling | 15 | 17 | 16 | 17 | 14 | 20 | 15 |
| Dwarf | 17 | 17 | 18 | 15 | 16 | 16 | 15 |
| Gnome | 14 | 15 | 19 | 16 | 20 | 15 | 15 |
| Goblin | 15 | 15 | 19 | 19 | 17 | 16 | 13 |
| Ogre | 20 | 19 | 15 | 14 | 16 | 15 | 15 |
| Deep Elf | 14 | 15 | 16 | 18 | 19 | 17 | 15 |
| Deep Gnome | 14 | 15 | 18 | 18 | 19 | 14 | 16 |
In these wiki numbers, every race has 114 points in total. The difference between races is where those points go. Ogres have the most Strength and Stamina. Wood Elves have the most Agility, Gnomes the most Intelligence and Halflings the most Wisdom. Goblins have the lowest Charisma at 13.
Each class page on the wiki also lists a class modifier to these base stats, and the wiki's creation tables show 10 bonus points. Both are beta values, so check them in game. Our races guide covers which classes each race can play.
Which classes lean on which stat
This table lists only the links the developers have stated. We don't publish stat priorities by class because no official source gives them.
| Stat | Classes the developers tie to it |
|---|---|
| Charisma | Enchanter: primary stat; scales damage, Runeskin, charm and lull. Bard: sets mana and song damage |
| Wisdom | Cleric, Druid, Shaman, Ranger, Paladin: ability damage. Heals in general: heal bonus |
| Intelligence | Spell damage bonus in general. Spellblade: Kinetic Ward |
| Dexterity | Monk: Round Kick and Flying Kick |
| Stamina | Fighter: Second Wind. Shadow Knight: Grip of Agony |
We found no official note tying a stat to the Archer, Beastmaster, Elementalist, Inquisitor, Necromancer, Rogue or Wizard. The general rules above still apply to them. Beastmasters, for example, have no spellbook, and their mana represents the bond with their beast. We found no official note on which stat feeds that pool. Our classes guide covers every class.
See your stats on your guild roster
On CoGM, a member runs /upload with a screenshot of the character window (Inventory tab). CoGM reads the character's level, race, class, faith, health, mana, armor class, seven stats and eight resists. The guild roster then lists each character's level, race, class, faith, armor class, health, mana and stats side by side, and the character's profile page shows the resists. Officers can check a member's stats and resists before a fight without asking.
FAQ
What does Agility do in Monsters & Memories?
The official notes say little. Agility is part of the to-hit rework in patch 0.29.0.0 (September 10, 2026). Patch 0.27.0.0 fixed uneven Agility scaling below level 40. The community wiki says Agility gives damage mitigation, but the developers have not confirmed it.
What does Charisma do?
Charisma affects when charm, fear and pacify break. It is the Enchanter's primary stat and scales Enchanter damage, Runeskin, charm and lull. It also sets Bard mana and song damage. The wiki says it did not seem to change vendor prices during the beta.
Is there a stat cap?
Some stat bonuses have caps. The spell damage bonus from Intelligence and the heal bonus from Wisdom are capped by your level, but the patch notes give no numbers for those caps. Resists from worn gear have a cap, which a beta patch raised. Character creation also limits how many points you can put in each stat.
Does Strength affect ranged damage?
Yes. Since the Beta Pre-Patch (0.20.25.0, February 25, 2026), ranged physical damage scales from Strength, the same as other physical damage.
Are skills the same as stats?
No. Stats are the seven attributes on your character. Skills are a separate system, and your class guild master offers skills training when you start. Block is one example: Stamina scales it, and Clerics get it from Prayer of the Faithful.
