Step-by-Step Preparation
Check Guild Gear Roster
Go to the Gear Roster page in your guild dashboard. Click Sort by Gear Score to see your members ranked by GS. Members below your guild's configured threshold are flagged automatically. Make a mental note of who needs upgrades before the war.
Review Class Composition
Click the Class Composition tab on the gear roster. You'll see a breakdown of your available Rats, Bruisers, and support classes. Use this to plan your loadout and identify class gaps. Note which classes are underrepresented.
Create the Node War Event
Go to Events and click New Event. Set the title (e.g., "Node War - Balenos"), date/time, and description. Under Siege Roles, configure slots for each role:
- Mainball: 5 slots
- Flex: 10 slots
- Cannon Team: 3 slots
- Elephant Rider: 1 slot
- Defense: 8 slots
Adjust counts based on your guild strategy. Save the event.
Deploy Signup Embed to Discord
Click Embed on your event. Customize the color, title, and description. Click Send to Discord and paste the embed into your announcements channel. Members can now react with their class emoji or click signup buttons to register.
Monitor Signups & Assign Parties
As signups come in, visit the event's Signups tab. Sort by class and GS. You'll see a Class Composition chart showing real-time breakdown. Reassign underrepresented roles as needed. Create your party lineup manually or import from a loadout template.
Post Party Composition
Once parties are finalized, click Share Parties to export a formatted embed showing all party assignments. Send this to Discord so members know exactly who they're grouped with. Include any last-minute strategy notes.
Track Attendance During War
As the war begins, your guild members join voice channels. The Attendance page auto-detects voice presence. You can also manually mark members as attended, no-show, or benched. This data feeds directly into analytics.
Upload Combat Log for PvP Analytics
After the war, export your guild's combat log from Ikusa or your parsing tool. Go to the event's Analytics tab and click Upload Log. CoGM will parse individual K/D ratios, damage output, and survival metrics. Analyze performance by siege role.
Pro feature: Set K/D exclusions by role (e.g., exclude Elephant Rider from K/D evaluation) to get fair performance metrics.
Pro Tip
Advanced: Role-Based Loadout Templates
Save time by creating reusable role-based loadout templates. Assign minimum gear scores per slot so that when you import signups, the highest GS players are automatically assigned to priority slots. Learn more in the Party Builder guide.
