Setup Process

Run BDO Setup Wizard (or Skip)

If this is your first time, go to your guild and click Setup. The setup wizard will guide you through region selection, roster import, and feature activation. If you've already completed setup, you can skip to the next step.

Set Gear Score Threshold

Go to Guild Settings and find the Gear Tracking section. Set your target gear score threshold. Your guild leadership decides the right number based on the content you run and the standard you hold members to.

This threshold highlights members below the target on the gear roster so officers can follow up. You can set separate thresholds for different event types (e.g., node war vs. siege).

Have Members Upload Gear

Tell your members to run /upload in Discord. Members take a screenshot of their gear window in-game and attach it directly to the command. The OCR system automatically extracts their gear score, items, and enchantment levels.

Check Gear Roster Progress

Go to Guild Dashboard > Gear Roster. You'll see all members with uploaded gear, sorted by gear score. Green check marks indicate members above threshold. Red flags show who needs upgrades. Click any member to see their full gear breakdown.

Set Up Gear Reminders (Optional)

Go to Guild Settings > Gear Tracking and enable Monthly Reminders. Members who haven't uploaded gear for 30 days will get a Discord DM reminder. This keeps your roster current without manual follow-up.

How OCR Works

When a member uploads a gear screenshot, CoGM automatically extracts all stats from the image. An AI fallback handles unclear screenshots. The process takes a few seconds. Members see confirmation once their gear is processed.

Officers Can Upload For Members

If a member can't upload, officers can use /upload target:@Member to upload on their behalf. Use this for mobile-only players or during guild events.

Advanced: Cross-Guild Gear Syncing

If your community manages multiple BDO guilds, gear uploads automatically sync across all of them. No duplicate uploads needed. View gear from any member in any of your guilds from a single dashboard.
