/events Command

View upcoming guild events. Sign up directly from the command response.

What it does

The /events command displays upcoming events for your guild:

  1. 1.Lists all upcoming events for your guild
  2. 2.Shows event title, date, time, and signup status
  3. 3.Displays signup buttons on the first event (and subsequent events)
  4. 4.Shows current signup count and status of each event

Command syntax

/events [limit]

Parameters

limit

Number

How many events to display (default: 5). Use higher numbers to see more upcoming events.

Usage examples

Show next 5 events:

/events

Show next 10 events:

/events limit:10

What's displayed

Event title

Name of the event

Date & time

When the event is scheduled

Signup count

How many members have signed up

Event status

Upcoming, in progress, or completed

Description

Details about the event (if provided)

Click to sign up or cancel signup

Members can sign up directly from the /events response. Click the signup button on an event to register.

Click to register for the event

Cancel Signup

Click to remove your signup from the event

Event is scheduled for the future

In Progress

Event is happening right now

Completed

Event has finished

Troubleshooting

"Guild not found"

Your guild must be registered on CoGM. Check with your guild leader.

"No events"

Your guild hasn't created any upcoming events yet. Ask an officer to create events in the CoGM dashboard.

Can't sign up

You must be a registered guild member on CoGM. Use /upload to register your gear first.

"Signup limit reached"

The event has reached its signup limit. Ask an officer if spots open up.
