Gear Tracking & OCR

CoGM extracts gear stats automatically from BDO screenshots using OCR. Upload a gear window screenshot from your character, and CoGM pulls AP, DP, GS, and other stats instantly. You can also enter gear manually for offline or older gear data.

Gear stat tracking

CoGM tracks eight core gear statistics for every upload:

  • AP: Attack Power (primary DPS stat)
  • AAP: Additional Attack Power
  • DP: Defense Power (survival stat)
  • GS: Gear Score (overall progression metric)
  • TP: Transcendence Power
  • Accuracy: Hit rate in PvP
  • Evasion: Dodge rate in PvP
  • DR: Damage Reduction (reduction percentage)

How OCR extraction works

When you upload a BDO gear screenshot, CoGM automatically extracts all 8 stats from the image. The system uses multi-layer text recognition with an AI fallback for unclear screenshots. The process takes a few seconds and handles all gear window layouts.

OCR quality tips

Gear window screenshots work best when the stats window is fully visible and not clipped. Avoid screenshots with UI overlays, guild names, or other windows covering the gear panel.

Gear roster view

The gear roster shows all guild members' latest gear stats in a sortable table. Click any column header to sort by that stat (AP, DP, GS, etc.). Use the class filter to see only specific classes like Warrior, Witch, Ninja, or Striker.

Gear cells color-code based on your guild's gear threshold settings. Members below the threshold are highlighted in orange. This makes it easy to spot undergeared players at a glance.

Set gear thresholds

Configure your guild's minimum gear threshold in Settings > Gear Thresholds. Members below this GS will be highlighted as undergeared on the roster view.

Gear progression tracking

Every gear upload creates a snapshot. CoGM stores these snapshots over time (maximum one per 24 hours per member) and plots gear progression as a chart. Watch your members' AP, DP, and GS climb week-to-week.

Progression charts show trend lines for each stat, so you can identify members who are improving and those who have plateaued. Use this for performance reviews and gear requirement discussions.

Snapshot limits

Gear snapshots are created automatically on each upload. To avoid spam, CoGM allows only one snapshot per member per 24 hours. Additional uploads within 24 hours update the member's current gear without creating a new snapshot.

Class composition analysis

The class composition view shows a donut chart of all guild members by class. CoGM supports 32 BDO classes including Warrior, Witch, Wizard, Ranger, Sorceress, Berserker, Valkyrie, Maehwa, Musa, Shai, Striker, Mystic, Lahn, Archer, Sorcerer, Hashashin, Nova, Succ variants, and more.

Below the chart, CoGM provides comp analysis. This breaks down your guild's composition by siege roles: how many Rats (low GS high evasion builds), Bruisers (balanced builds), Ranged DPS, and Support classes you have. Use this to plan node war party compositions.

Manual gear entry

Not everyone uploads screenshots. You can manually enter gear stats for any member through the member profile or the gear roster context menu. Manual entries are treated the same as OCR uploads and contribute to progression tracking and roster views.

Bulk gear updates

For large gear updates after a patch, officers can manually enter stats for multiple members through each member's profile page on the web dashboard.
