BDONew
/clips, /vod-submit
Two Black Desert Online commands for footage: /clips shares short PvP clips with the guild, and /vod-submit sends a full war recording to a review channel.
/clips
- Game: Black Desert Online. Plan: Pro.
- Anyone can browse. Submitting needs the Submit Clips permission, which members have by default.
/clips latest [count]
/clips random
/clips submit title:<title> url:<link>| Option | Required | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
count | No | latest: how many clips to show, from 1 to 10. |
title | Yes | submit: a title for the clip, up to 256 characters. |
url | Yes | submit: the clip link from Medal.tv, YouTube or Twitch. |
latest shows the guild's newest clips, random picks one, and submit adds a clip to the guild's feed.
/vod-submit
- Game: Black Desert Online. Plans: Free and Pro.
- Any current member of the community. Which VOD channels you can post to depends on the channel's roles. If you left a guild, its Discord roles no longer let you submit to it; your past VODs stay.
/vod-submit link:<url>| Option | Required | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
link | Yes | A YouTube or Twitch VOD link. |
- Run the command with your link. If you can post to more than one VOD channel, pick one.
- If the channel has folders, pick one or leave the VOD unfiled.
- Fill in the form: the link, a title, and an optional date and description. The VOD is posted for review, the channel's leads get a DM, and the reply has a link to open it on CoGM.
An officer sets the default VOD channel in the VOD Review settings. A started submission expires after 5 minutes.
Reviews and notes on a VOD happen on the website. Timestamped notes and drawings need Pro. See VOD Review and Clips.
