Loot

Run loot auctions in Discord, where members bid DKP with buttons. WoW Forever guilds also keep wishlists and soft reserves.

Who can use it

Loot auctions: WoW Forever and Monsters & Memories guilds.
Wishlists and soft reserves: WoW Forever guilds.
Pro, on the guild's own plan or its trial. Bids are paid in DKP, so the guild uses DKP.
Officers with Manage Loot Auctions start and run auctions. Members on the roster bid. Link an auction to an event and that event drives the handover list, the Not answered list on the Manage panel for sealed rounds, and who can join a later roll-off.

How an auction works

Open: bids are visible and the price goes up. The highest bid wins and pays its bid. An open auction can have a buyout price that wins at once.
Sealed: bids are hidden until the end, officers included. The highest bid wins.
Your bid holds that much of your DKP until the auction ends. /auction status shows your balance, what is held, and what you can still bid.
Anti-snipe: a late bid pushes the end back, so nobody wins by bidding in the last second.
On WoW Forever, bids come in tiers: Main spec beats Off spec. A tiered auction has one item per post.

Start an auction

Run /auction start

Add one item, or up to five. The Quick round presets put them in one post, and the other presets give each item its own post. On WoW Forever, Main spec and Off spec bid tiers (on by default) also give each item its own post. Pick a preset, or set the format, the end, the minimum bid, the step and a buyout yourself.

Let it run

The post shows the leading bid and updates as members bid. On auctions of 10 minutes or more, bidders who are outbid get a DM with a button to bid again.

Hand it over

When it ends, the winner pays from their DKP. /auction handover lists sold items still to hand over in game.

The direct message a bidder gets when someone outbids them, with a one-press bid button — The outbid DM.

Presets

Each guild starts with built-in presets and can save up to 50 of its own:

Quick sealed round and Quick open round: two-minute rounds.
Open auction and Sealed auction, 24 h: one item per post, over a day.
Live raid (WoW Forever): 90-second open auctions, one post per item, during the raid.

Add save_as to /auction start to keep your settings as a new preset.

Officer tools

/auction bulk: start up to 25 items from a typed list, or from a boss's drops on Monsters & Memories.
/auction reverse: undo a sale.
/auction award: give an unsold item to a member, with a reason and an optional DKP price.
/auction relist: run an unsold item again.
/auction rolloff: a recorded roll-off for an item, with optional MS and OS roll buttons (WoW Forever) and a role limit.

Wishlists (WoW Forever)

Members list the items they want on the Wishlists page in the guild sidebar. Officers with Manage Wishlists see every member's list, so they know who needs what before it drops.

Soft reserves and loot rules (WoW Forever)

A WoW Forever raid event can carry a loot rule: Soft reserve, Loot council or MS > OS. With soft reserve, you set how many picks each member gets, and members reserve items on the event page. Officers lock and reopen the reserves.
