Announcements
Write news once on the dashboard. CoGM keeps it on the community's Announcements page and posts it to your Discord channel.
Who can use it
- Every game. Free on every plan.
- Create Announcements or Manage Announcements lets someone write and post. Admins have both.
- Every member can open Announcements in the community sidebar. The list shows every announcement, drafts and scheduled ones included.
Set the default channel
In the community's Settings, open Discord Servers and set the announcement channel. New announcements post there unless you pick another channel.
Post an announcement

Start a new one
Open Announcements in the community sidebar and create a new announcement.

Write it
Add a title and the content. Pick Text for a plain message or Rich Embed to build a Discord embed from blocks.

Pick where and who
Under Discord, choose Post to a specific channel to override the default. Add roles to ping, such as your siege team. Tick Pin this announcement to keep it at the top.

Publish
Choose a publish option: Publish Now, Schedule for a set time, or Save as Draft. A draft is not posted to Discord, but members can still read it on the Announcements list.
Editing later
Open an announcement to change its title, content, status or pin.
