Monsters & Memories

Run a Monsters & Memories guild on CoGM: pick your server, add characters, post groups, track who shows up, and run DKP.

Monsters & Memories is a subscription MMORPG from Niche Worlds Cult. Early Access opens October 1, 2026, at $15 a month with no box price. Levels run from 1 to 60, there are 18 classes, and a group is six players. For the short version, see the Monsters & Memories page.

Set up your guild

1

Create the guild

Sign in with Discord, create a community, and add a guild with Monsters & Memories as its game.
2

Pick your server

Choose the server your guild plays on. Characters stay on their server, so one CoGM guild covers one server. If your community plays on two servers, make a guild for each.
3

Add event templates

Under Activities > Templates, add the three starters: Camp, Dungeon, and Named target. You post events from these templates, and they are the list /attendance offers in Discord.
4

Invite the bot

Map your Officer and Member Discord roles and invite the bot so signups and group posts reach your server.

Servers

Six servers open at Early Access. There is no roleplay server.

  • Estaire: US West, PvE
  • Trem: US East, PvE
  • Tilustra: US East, PvE
  • Kravvin: US, PvP
  • Nunavoth: US, PvE, 3 clients
  • Vespyra: EU, PvE

Nunavoth is the only server that allows more than one game client per account, so members there often bring alts to the same group.

Characters

The game has no public character API, so CoGM cannot read characters from it. Members add their own on the guild's Roster page: name, race, class, level, and server. The class list follows the race, so only combinations the game allows can be saved. The first character a member adds is their main. Add alts the same way, and update the level as you go.

The nine Early Access races are Deep Elf, Deep Gnome, Dwarf, Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Human, Ogre, Wood Elf.

Upload a screenshot

Members can also run /upload in Discord with a screenshot of the character window on its Inventory tab. CoGM reads the Persona block (name, level, race, class and deity), health, mana, endurance, armor class, the seven statistics, the eight resists, and how much the character can carry. A new name makes a new character; an existing one gets its level and stats updated.

An upload never changes a name or class you typed by hand. If the screenshot reads a different class, the upload stops and says so. A race is filled in only when none is saved, and a level lower than the saved one is kept out. The reply lists what it read, so check the numbers against your screenshot. Items and coins are not read.

Groups and seats

A group is six players. By default an event seats one tank, one healer, one support, and three DPS. Officers can change the seats per event. Each class has a main role, and some classes can sign up in a second one:

  • Tank: Fighter, Inquisitor, Paladin, Shadow Knight
  • Healer: Cleric, Druid, Shaman. Also Paladin
  • Support: Bard, Enchanter. Also Cleric, Druid, Inquisitor, Shaman
  • DPS: Archer, Beastmaster, Elementalist, Monk, Necromancer, Ranger, Rogue, Spellblade, Wizard. Also Druid, Fighter, Shadow Knight, Shaman

When you sign up, pick any role your class can fill. The website lists only those roles, and a role your class cannot fill is turned down on the website and in Discord with the roles you can take. Seats an officer adds under their own names are open to every class. Crowd control, pets and pulling are class traits, not roles; Monk is the usual puller.

Signup lists, the Discord signup post, the party builder and the roster show a tag for how each class fights:

  • Melee: Beastmaster, Fighter, Inquisitor, Monk, Paladin, Rogue, Shadow Knight, Spellblade
  • Ranged: Archer, Elementalist, Enchanter, Necromancer, Wizard
  • Hybrid: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Ranger, Shaman

Looking for group

Members post groups with /lfg in Discord or on the dashboard. The built-in list has camps by level band, the dungeons from Tomb of the Last Wyrmsbane to Fallen Watch, and the named targets.

Experience is shared only while everyone is close in level. Until level 15, each member must be within 5 levels of the highest one. After that, each member must be at least two thirds of the highest level, so a level 40 can still group with a level 60. The camp bands follow that rule. Dungeon levels are the dungeon's own range, not a group range.

Named targets

Nothing in the game is instanced. A named target is a mob with a long respawn, such as Guillome the Accursed or Lord Ga'Duuz in Glass Flats. The game publishes no raid size, so the Named target template leaves signups open. Use the party builder to split signups into groups of six.

Attendance

Record attendance on an event's page: switch on voice tracking, mark members present, or use Import from Signups. /attendance in Discord records everyone in a voice channel against one of your templates.

DKP

Members earn DKP for attending events (set a DKP reward on the event or template) and for finished quests. Officers with the DKP permissions adjust balances by hand and run decay on the guild's DKP page. When a member wins an item, an officer records it under Record Item Win on the DKP page: type the item's name (the field suggests names from the game's item list, and any name you type still works) and its price, and the price comes off the member's DKP. DKP is on Pro; on Free the ledger stays readable but nothing new is paid or changed.

Guild Bank

The Guild Bank keeps count of what each banker holds. Officers add items by hand or paste a list (“20x Brilliant Crystallized Magic” or “BCM 12”), and set a price per item in coin, in DKP, or free. Members request what they need; an officer approves, hands it over in game and marks it sent, and any DKP price comes off the member's DKP then. Members can also log what they donate.

The Treasury tab records the platinum, gold, silver and copper that comes in and goes out of each banker. Type each coin in its own box and it converts automatically: 100 copper is a silver, 100 silver is a gold and 100 gold is a platinum, so 250 silver shows as 2g 50s. It also shows how much Brilliant Crystallized Magic the bank holds. /bank search in Discord finds an item in the bank. The Guild Bank is on Pro.

Item names, icons and sources come from MNM Realm. Their stats come from the beta and may differ from the live game; the raid loot we read from in-game tooltips shows the live numbers.

Not here yet

There are no loot auctions, wishlists or soft reserves for Monsters & Memories yet. The game has no gear score and no public character API, so there is no gear score ranking and no roster sync either.

Free and Pro

Free covers up to 30 members per guild. Pro is $10/mo per guild, with unlimited members. A new Monsters & Memories guild starts on a Pro trial automatically, once per community.

On Free: Roster Management, Events & Scheduling, Attendance Tracking, Applications, Absence Management, Announcements, Role Permissions, Audit Log, Class Composition, Gear Tracking, Gear OCR Upload.

On Pro: Looking For Group, Party Builder, DKP System, Points Decay, Guild Treasury, Guild Storage.
